1- How much did you contribute to make Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah a unique hotel on local and regional levels? What about its location, services , Decorations,  Friendly staff and Food spreads?

On the local level the hotel has been  build in 1982 and it was one of the first hotels in the UAE. So the hotel is part of the local life as the Emiratis get married and later the sons and daughters and so on. However it is very difficult to maintain it due to the new hotels in the city , but we have managed to do so by the ongoing update decorations and social events organized and finally review the guests comments and feedback on the food and adapted in order to exceed the guests expectations.

2- What did Rabih Zein add of his experience and knowledge to make the stay of any traveler at Radisson unforgettable? How did this property fall in the hearts of all those who spent some days in one of its rooms?

I do talk with my guests and make them very important and treat them like VIPs and make them unique. Celebrate the birthdays by surprises given kids gifts when they do not expect.

3- What is he Radisson’s rating on online booking sites, and how do you react to the guests’ feedback on Trip Advisor for ex?

I do answer within24h to all my guests and monitor my score on daily basis .

4- Special Easter promotions and packages?

We do ongoing promotions, however Easter  is already fully booked as it is high season, but we do have promotions as May onwards

5- What do you have in mind to attract more business people and corporate sectors to the hotel? What will you be offering to them that no other hotel will offer?

Being a resort is could easy or not for the corporate guest however we do have a special deal such getting 15 minutes free massage upon hotel check in etc…

6- A word about your 8 stylish conference rooms, your events team which can be quickly mobilized to help people from all sectors of economic life

Our meeting rooms are very popular in the city as they accommodate all different events from conferences to wedding to a training and birthday and the hotel have all the felicities from the private beach for private event to over 600 car park space.

7- A word about the Bay Club (your tennis courts, gyms, saunas and the children’s fun zone)

The bay club machines and equipment’s  has been upgraded with new machines and the tennis court as well as we do have club members using it on daily basis along with the beach as it is a part of the membership .


8- Your restaurants? What about the experience of indoor, outdoor fine dining?

we have 3 restaurants with a international varieties due to our guest and one of the them is open 24h and the snack bar at the pool offering pizzas and burgers with free games such the soccer and billiards ..

9- How much Radisson Blu  Sharjah helps organizing every young couple’s special day and makes it a day to remember for the menu, decoration, Sound and light, and entertainment? What about your 2 magnificent Ballrooms Mubarakia and Habiba? Your outdoor venue? Your menu items? Your highly trained and experienced personnel?

We do have special setting on the beach for the lovers with a special menu on moon light to make the event unforgettable. Adding on that  we do have on weekly basis different wedding with different nationalities so every it is   a unique experiences with the food and decorations. 

10- How Sharjah built itself into an authentic tourist destination? Did you expect the demand on hotel rooms to grow in the last2 years? Is the Emirate witnessing the development of Deluxe luxury resorts?

Sharjah is well known as the cultural city in UAE with various museum and month event attracting different tourist then the other emirates cities and our hotel fit very well with this image as luxury hotel.

11- Today the touristic sector in the GCC generally and Sharjah specifically is expected to meet the needs of GCC families and visitors, how much  it responds to such needs? What the F&B sector lacks and needs mostly in Sharjah?

We are very well know in Saudi and Oman specially Eid time we are fully booked and we do have special menus and event dedicated to the GCC guests and we do have guests are coming every year since 30 years actually we are a part of the yearly holidays.

12- The vast majority of existing restaurants and hotels in Sharjah are concentrated around 6 areas in the city, is the  sector still underserved? Is there a strong demand for new food and beverage outlets from fast-food facilities and coffee shops to fine dining restaurants throughout the Emirate?

Many restaurant has been open in Sharjah as Sharjah is more open to anew nationalities due to the development of air arabia deserving many cities around the world so the city has been successfully prepared to welcome such tourists.

13- Have hotels in Sharjah succeeded in attracting the Eastern European   segment of tourists by offering customized packages? What about other niche segments? 

Definitely special since few month no more visa need it for Russian and other countries like Armenia etc…so he have prepare package on half board and full board and adapting our prices and services.

14- The Middle East is a popular and lucrative destination for international franchises and Sharjah is no exception. The introduction  of successful brands in key locations throughout the Emirate  is a proven method of success.

Being a international brand is a must where the guests expect quality and security and nice surprises  such pizza and ice cream testing on the beach for kids … 

15- How to brand any hospitality sector in Sharjah? How you devised a branding strategy for Radisson Blu Resort? What brand identity you chose for your hotel?

Radisson Blu is very well known worldwide and more in the UAE and the hotel in Sharjah even more so the guest do know what they want however having another international brand it is healthy and good as we need to be perfect and always working on it to maintain the services and we do know the others are around .
